Heated swimming

Free for the guests of Riverside Apartment at Watermark Villas, Taupo

Available from the first week of the October school holidays until Easter each year, the beautiful swimming pool onsite at Watermark Villas is free for our guests to use.

Heated to a comfortable level, it is delightful to swim in, or if you prefer, keep an eye on the kids from the comfort of the loungers, either in the sun or under the shade of the roof. We provide pool towels for our guests' use.

The pool has a coded entry so you can be sure that only guests and owners of Watermark Villas apartments have use of this wonderful asset.

The pool is automatically adjusted for levels of pH and chlorine for an optimal swimming experience. A few simple rules are posted around the pool for everyone's enjoyment, including replacing the cover if you are the last to exit to keep the pool toasty warm.

If the pool isn't enough swim experience for you then we suggest that the Waikato River in front of the apartments is a sublime option - refreshing, clear and clean - of course please keep an eye on the younger ones and those that are not strong swimmers. You should stay at all times in a safe depth as there is a current flow that can pose a hazard to less capable swimmers. Life jackets found in the apartment garage may be used in the river but please don't use them in the pool as the chlorine will damage them.
